Management Solutions has conducted project analysis and independent reviews on multiple projects including:
Bravura Information Technology Systems, Inc.
Performed an expedited, independent compliance assessment of Bravura’s EVM system against the EIA-748 32 EVMS criteria for compliance and functionality. Audit results were summarized into high-level categories within three areas – non-compliance issues, functional issues, and best practice recommendations. This enabled Bravura to address a concise list of specific issues that would resolve multiple compliance gaps simultaneously.
Developed the formal Project Management System for ORNL’s engineering and construction division. MSLLC assisted the development and receipt of independent third-party certification for an EVMS that is deployed across the entire organization’s projects, scalable based on a project’s size and complexity.
Olmsted Locks and Dam
Supported the Olmsted Locks and Dam Independent External Peer Review by providing schedule support for the In-the-Dry study, a replacement project method of construction alternative analysis.
Over 19 months, 48 total schedule analyses (Initial Baseline analyses and Preliminary/Progress Update Schedule analyses) were performed for 22 projects with budgets totaling $372M. For these reviews, the average turnaround time was just over a week, well within the contract requirements.
Assisted UCOR in annual self-surveillance of their EVMS, review their Baseline Change Requests process, EVMS project scheduling services, and also provided a 35-hour Project Management Professional training course.
Assisted Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) in the development of their Project Management Office (PMO) and EVMS.
Management Solutions previously developed and maintained the integrated, resource-loaded project schedule used in managing the EPC. Facilitation was aided to expedite the creation, organization, review, and approval of appropriate project management and EVMS documentation. Our team prepared CD documentation and reports for and integrated project reviews.
Spallation Neutron Source Proton Power
The Spallation Neutron Source Proton Power Upgrade project was a $160M system and facilities upgrade project. Efforts included integrating the estimate and schedule and setting the project up in Deltek Cobra for cost reporting.
